Held on November 3 in Odeon West End at Leicester Square, London, the concert was the opening show for “The London Korean Film Festival.”
Representatives of the Odeon theater stated, “The ticket reservation for SHINee’s opening gala concert went faster than for the first day of reservation for the ‘Harry Potter’ series. It was the first time the ticket reservation system went down.”
English newspapers “The Guardian,” “The Independent” and “The Times” were present at the concert. CNN and other media outlets were also there.
SHINee opened the concert with “Ring Ding Dong” and continued with their numerous hit songs including “Replay,” “Juliette,” and “Lucifer.”
After the concert, SHINee was interview by the local newspapers and other media. SHINee also introduced the Korean film, “Arrow: The Ultimate Weapon,” which was the opening film for the event.
SHINee will return to Korea on November 4. Following that, they will be busy promoting worldwide with two “SHINee World” Osaka concerts on November 24 and 25, and the “Billboard K-Pop Masters” concert in Las Vegas on November 26. SHINee will also release their first Japanese album on December 7, appropriately titled “The First.”
