YesAsia, known to many as the largest English-language online retailer for Asian entertainment products, has released a list of best-selling Korean and Japanese artists and albums based on orders received throughout the year. SHINee ranks high within these lists, once again marking their international popularity. Charts and descriptions can be found below.
Korean Bestselling Lists
"The below rankings are based on K-pop sales on YesAsia.com from January 1 to December 31, 2012. Sales of all editions (including repackages) and versions (Korea, Taiwan, Japan, etc.) of the same title are summed up to determine the total sales." - YesAsia
SHINee ranks in third place on the all-encompassing list of best-selling male groups, directly under fellow powerhouse groups Big Bang and Super Junior. This category additionally considers sales of non-album merchandise.
SHINee's mini-album Sherlock ranks as the fourth best-selling album of the year. The SM Entertainment DVD "I AM: SMTOWN" placed third in the list of best-selling K-Pop DVDs.
Japanese Bestselling Lists

SHINee once again claims third place in the list of best-selling artists with Japanese releases. SHINee takes two places in the list of best-selling J-Pop concerts, with both their concert DVDs placing at 7th and 10th.
Lastly, SHINee's two original Japanese albums both placed on the most popular Japanese singles of 2012, with Dazzling Girl at 3rd and For 1000 Years, Always Be My My Side... at 10th.
