[INFO] 120318 Revenue for Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee, and f(x) revealed
The revenue earnings from SM Entertainment artists Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee, and f(x) have been revealed.
The ‘Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System‘ or DART (Repistory of Korea’s Corporate Filings) has revealed the various sales figures for 5 of SM Entertainment artists. On top of the overall revenue was Girls’ Generation, and they were followed by Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee, and f(x) in that respective order.
Up until the 3rd quarter of 2011, Girls’ Generation raked in a grand total of $19.3 million USD. If you include 4th quarter sales for “The Boys” along with their Japanese promotions, it is estimated that the total revenue figure would exceed 100 billion won or approximately $88.56 million USD.
Over that same time frame (up until the 3rd quarter of 2011), Super Junior earned $12.25 million USD, TVXQ earned $10.4 million USD, SHINee earned $5 million USD, and f(x) earned $3.3 million USD.
These figures don’t include individual solo activities (appearances, performances), special projects, SMTown concerts, and more. Because such figures weren’t tallied in, there’s a high probability that final revenue figures are much higher.
