Idol group SHINee’s three albums including their debut single, took the top three positions on the Oricon chart. This is the first time a foreign artist has won all three spots in Japan.
According to the Oricon chart, SHINee’s third Japanese single Lucifer, which was released on the 12th, ranked second on the weekly single chart.
SHINee’s three singles, Replay Kimiwa Bokuno Everything, Juliet, and Lucifer, took the top three positions on the Oricon chart.
The Oricon chart says, “This is the first time in forty-four years that a foreign artist has ranked in the top three with their three albums including their debut single, in a row.”
SHINee will release their first Japanese official album The First on November 23. They will hold their exclusive concerts on the 27 in Nagoya and on November 24 and 25 in Osaka.
