The five shining boys of SHINee are back to dominate the stage once again! On October 6, a special comeback showcase for SHINee took place at the annual Gangnam Hallyu Festival held at KEPCO Special Stage. The artist line-up for the event included Infinite, Girl's Day and label mates EXO.
The special event featured SHINee’s self-introduction for their fifth mini-album entitled, ‘Everybody’. It was definitely one of the most anticipated comeback stage of the year as it was aired live through YouTube and garnered almost 57,000 viewers from around the world! Fans were on the edge of their seats as they waited for the show to start to see SHINee perform their newest song, ‘Everybody’ for the first time ever.
The show started with special host Jeon Hyunmoo introducing SHINee, before the boys themselves came out donning their Dream Girl era suits. They performed their triple-crown hit, ‘Dream Girl’, followed by ‘Sherlock’, before leaving the stage for an outfit change.
MCs Hyunmoo and EXO–K’s Suho and Baekhyun briefly entertained the audience until SHINee took the stage again, dressed in simple black and white outfits. They performed ‘Selene 6.23’ for the very first time, one of the songs on their third repackaged album – ‘The Misconceptions of Us’.
After the performance, the boys did a brief introduction and fans were delighted with the way they introduced themselves in different languages. They were then briefly interviewed about their new mini-album. After the interview, SHINee performed one of the songs on their upcoming mini-album, ‘Symptoms’, an R&B track with the lyrics written by Jonghyun himself.
SHINee ended the event with a blast, donning all-white uniform-style costumes. The five shining boys of SHINee performed ‘Everybody’, showcasing their polished steps and powerful vocals for the new, intense song.
Their fifth mini-album, ‘Everybody’ will be released on October 14.
