The highlight medley of seven songs in SHINee's new mini-album "Everybody" will be released today through SMTown's YouTube channel, Facebook page, and SHINee's Official LINE.
With "Everybody", SHINee showcases their unique identity with fast-paced melodies which everyone can enjoy and relate to. This video teaser is expected to further boost expectations for their comeback.
The title song "Everybody" falls under the complextro genre, with a funky rhythm and an easygoing melody. Composer Thomas Troelson (Sherlock, Love Like Oxygen) and writer Jo Yoonkyung (Sherlock) worked with South Korean production house Coach & Sendo to further bring out the complextro feel of the song.
Meanwhile, the lyric video for "Symptoms", one of the songs on the much anticipated mini-album "Everybody" was released yesterday. Its absorbing lyrics that speak of lovesickness was written by SHINee's very own Jonghyun. Jonghyun expressed the pain of love with words like "If these wounds cannot be healed/I could die/I could go crazy" and "There is no other cure but you" through the R&B melody of the song.
