Shawols! Buckle up for another round of fangirling as SHINee will be making another comeback this year!
On the 8th of August, SHINee will be releasing their third repackaged album entitled ‘The Misconceptions of Us’. It will serve as a wrap-up to SHINee’s epic two-part album, containing all previous tracks from both chapters. Two new tracks will also be included on the album— ‘Selene 6.23’ and ‘Better Off’.
‘Selene 6.23’ will be a ballad, featuring a smooth orchestral harmony and soothing piano melody by world-renowned pianist, Yiruma. There is no doubt that this ballad will showcase SHINee’s distinct vocal qualities. As for the second track, ‘Better Off’ will be a medium-tempo pop ballad-based song that will express the sorrow of a break-up and moving on. SHINee’s main vocalist, Jonghyun is said to be directly involved in writing the lyrics for both tracks.
An SM representative stated, “The new album will be the conclusion of the overall concept of SHINee’s ‘Misconceptions’. The goal is to encompass the story of all three albums and to convey an array of emotions. SHINee members have worked hard in participating and perfecting the album in hopes of showing their growth over time.”
In other news, SHINee will be releasing their single “Boys Meet U” in Japan, and is receiving well-deserved success on their “Japan Arena Tour SHINee World 2013 – Boys Meet U.”
