[NEWS] 130327 SHINee show off their athletic charms for ‘Skechers’

SHINee‘s athletic photo shoot for Sketchers has been revealed!

Through the sports brand shoot, the members showed off their stylish and colorful exercise looks. They matched training shorts with simple t-shirts and colorful windbreakers as they posed in various running poses.

Taemin, Minho and Onew donned spring colors in their blue, red, and lime windbreakers, while Jonghyun and Key looked chic and classy in achromatic-colored shirts.

A representative of ‘Sketchers‘ shared, “We revealed SHINee’s photo shoot just in time for spring when it’s nice to jog. For this season, light and active products were released, and we anticipate a big response from people who enjoy jogging or running.”

[NEWS] 130325 Pledis Entertainment denies dating rumors between SHINee’s Onew and After School’s Jung Ah

After paparazzi captured shots of SHINee‘s Onew and After School‘s Jung Ah sitting inside a car together and exiting a restaurant, rumors have flared that the two idols were in a relationship with each other.
However, in a press release distributed just a few minutes ago, Jung Ah’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, denied all charges of a relationship between the two idols.

“The two of them are merely close friends, not dating,” they said, denying the reports. “As fellow entertainment workers, Jung Ah and Onew have a close relationship where they advise each other. Today, their schedules matched so they were only enjoying a light meal together, and weren’t dating like media agencies have reported.”

Earlier, Korean media agency Kuki News ran an exclusive report along with pictures, quoting a close friend with the two idols that “they have been dating for one year”.

The application period runs from May 25th to April 5th. Each ticket will cost 9,000 yen plus a system fee of 380 yen, and comes with a free lightstick to be collected at the venue.

[NEWS] 130322 SHINee scores highest points among boy groups for Viewer's Choice Chart on KBS Music Bank

On the March 22nd broadcast of KBS Music Bank, SHINee and 2AM were up against each other for 1st place on the K-Chart.

Ever since 1998, the charting system for the music show has undergone numerous changes. The latest system, implemented since November 11, 2011, combines its scores as follows: Digital Music Charts (65%), Album Sales (5%), Number of times broadcast on KBS TV Only (20%), and Viewers' Choice Charts (10%).

While 2AM took home the victory of 1st Place, SHINee was revealed to have received 1,157 points for the Viewers' Choice Chart, which is the highest score for idol boy groups since the new system begun.

The previous record was held by Big Bang at 1,134 points.

[NEWS] 130322 SHINee's Jonghyun attempts to finish a glass of Coca-Cola in 5 seconds

On an upcoming episode of SBS Star King, a young girl showed off her skill of drinking 500ml worth of Coca-Cola in 3 seconds. During the show, the young girl appeared and actually finished a glass of Cola-Cola in the blink of an eye, drawing the attention of the hosts and guests present.

SHINee's very own Bling Bling Jonghyun expressed that he could finish the same amount within 5 seconds, showing off his confidence in challenging the young girl.

However, Jonghyun ended up spitting out the drink after he took on the challenge, causing the set to erupt in laughter.

Comedian Park Joon Gyu and Rainbow's Jaekyung took part in the challenge as well, resulting in a scene that caused a dumbfounding reaction throughout the set.

This episode will be aired at 6:20 PM KST on March 23rd.

[NEWS] 130321 Jonghyun congratulates Lee Hi on her M! Countdown win with the gift of a rose

Tonight's M! Countdown did not fail to delight as the show closed with SHINee's special stage of Aside and Dream Girl. The performance was held to commemorate their recent Triple Crown award, as was a special handprint ceremony that occurred before the show.

Aside has proven to be a favorite out of the Dream Girl tracklist, often placing as the second most popular song after Dream Girl in terms of digital and ringtone downloads.

An interaction that stood out upon the show's conclusion was between Jonghyun and solo artist Lee Hi. Following the announcement of Lee Hi's win during the encore of the show, Jonghyun presented Lee Hi with a rose as a gesture of congratulation. Rising star Lee Hi gracefully accepted the rose as they bowed to each other on stage. Minho greeted Lee Hi to congratulate her as well.

[NEWS] 130321 SHINee ranked #5 on Oricon Chart for 2nd week of March

As expected of a worldwide phenomenon, some of your favorite K-pop artists, including T-ara, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, SHINee, and IU, have made it into the ‘Top 10′ of Japan’s Oricon chart.

T-ara is currently the highest ranking K-pop artist on the chart as #2 on the Oricon daily single chart with their new single, “Bunny Style“, selling 40,705 copies. The group will be releasing a photo book on the 28th.

Girls’ Generation’s ‘Best Selection Non Stop Mix‘ album ranked #4 on Oricon’s daily album chart, while IU‘s mini-album ‘Can You Hear Me?‘ reached #9 on the same chart.

SHINee, who recently made a comeback, ranked #5 on Oricon’s weekly single chart for the second week of March with “Fire“. TVXQ also ranked #6 on the Oricon weekly album chart with the album ‘TIME‘, which is a drop from their previous #1 ranking on the chart the previous week.

[NEWS] 130320 SHINee’s Onew is a Meat Cooking Pro

After traveling around Krabi, Thailand for a day, SHINee’s Onew decided it was time to feast on some Korean food as he demonstrated that he’s the best meat cooker.

On MBC Music’s SHINee’s One Fine Day, Onew surprised the staff by visiting a Korean restaurant on his second day in Thailand. Onew explained that he’s a Korean food maniac.

Not only that, as a butcher’s son, Onew proudly stated that he’s the best meat cooker in SHINee, demonstrating his skills to the staff, who acknowledged his skills.

1st pre record:

For the first pre record (dream girl) they made 3 rounds~

For the first one, Onew dropped his mic stand, a piece even flew in the air, his face was so surprised, he catched it on the floor trying to be cool but all shawol laughed, his members too they sightly laughed at him trying to continue the perfo, then Onew smiled like “hihi i broke my mic”
So funny~

And so after few seconds the music stopped kk While the staff tried to fix onew’s mic, Taemin was playing with his hat, throwing it in the air and trying catch it on his head~ He missed it few times kk

During the two breaks Only Key, Taemin and Jonghyun went to side to see their perf on the screen, Minho and Onew kept watching from the main stage.
At the first break, Onew sat on the steps in the back on of the stage, resting a little :)

When they started another time, the music suddenly stopped while Taemin was singing, he kept his mic in front of his mouth and his face was like ‘why? Why did you stop? I’m so chocked’ ahahhaha

At the end of the last perfo, i don’t know how but Taemin made his hat fall, ended he had to go on the forward steps near the fans to take it back kk

At a moment, they were all talking together and Key laughed hard, maybe it was about Onew previous mic accident kk
His laugh is so unique, it made laugh all the fans

Onew was playing with his before performing line showing something on them? His face was soooo cute, like ‘did you see?’ Key went to him like ‘Mh? What?’ 

After the first full recording, they all went in the backstage expect Key who stayed alone on the stage. I think he didn’t realized it at first so when he turned around he was like’eh?’ 

Jonghyun yawned very loudly ~

At the end they waved a lot, Minho bowed a lot to fans. Taemin took off his hat and pretended to throw it to the fans … Teasing!

When we entered again in the room, the boys were already on stage and they made signs to us (to the shawol going in the room) like ‘come in come in! Take place!’ Kk

They started but at the beginning, during Taemin’s part he hit his leg with his mic (seems to hurt a little but it was ok). The music stopped and a shawol said ‘The mic didn’t do well right?’ (Like it’s the mic’s fault kk) Taemin nodded and pretend to hit his mic! Ahah Anyway they have to do it again and Taemin dropped his mic again at the same part, he was so sorry ~~

Key said something to fans but we couldn’t understand so we were like ‘what? WHAT?’ He just laughed and applaused k
Key was cute today, always smiling and waving to fans~

They started again, the music began but Minho was doing the fool so it was not good lol The same shawol said ‘The music didn’t do well right?’ And Minho laughed… And they started again! Taemin almost dropped his mic AGAIN at the same part but the music still went on. All was good until Onew’s part when he has to make his stand mic turn, he made it wrong and the stand mic hit his head and flew in the front of the stage. 
It seems to hurt because he stopped his movement and they all stopped. Minho checked at him, Onew was still smiling but I think the pain was real. So he went to backstage for few minutes.

During this time Key, Minho and Taemin were joking around, playing with the mics (If I remember well Minho and Taemin made their mics fall down on the floor)
Jonghyun was staying still, not moving, thinking a lot, so shawol asked ‘are you tired?’ He said no with the head but when they were about to start again he yawned again kk

When Jinki came back he seemed to be fine!

The last one they made it right, Taemin didn’t drop his mic, Jinki didn’t hit his head, Jonghyun didn’t yawn, everything was good ~~ kk

When they left, Minho does the same thing as Taemin before, he took off his jacket and pretend to throw it to fans ~

SHINee will be on the cover of the April issue of @star1.
Through the interview with the magazine, they truthfully revealed their ideal types.

Onew: I like someone who knows how to pour passion into her work and is enthusiastic about it.
Minho: I like someone who pays attention to me. Even if she does her best at her own work, I hope she would always think about me.
Taemin: Maybe it's because I'm still young but I don't have particular thoughts about an ideal type. If I had to say something, it'd be someone who overflows with responsibility.

SHINee‘s leader Onew revealed that he wants to collaborate with rap group Dynamic Duo.  K-Pop’s contemporary band SHINee made a guest appearance on “Park So Hyun’s Love Game” radio show. On that show Park So Hyun asked the members, “Are there any artists you would like to work with in the future?”

Onew replied, “Not too long ago, Yoon Jong Shin said on a show that he wanted to give me a song.” His members asked him if he was planning a duet. Park So Hyun joked, “I’m close with Yoon Jung Shin, but I’m against the idea of the two of you in a duet.” The other members offered, “Maybe instead of a duet, he just wants to give you a song.”
