Korean Elle Girl editor, Lee Kyung Ah, announced recently that SHINee will have a special co-project with the magazine, Elle Girl Japan, who will publish their 100th issue in May.
It has been 8 years and 3 months since Elle Girl's 1st issue was published, and in May, their 100th issue will come out. According to Elle Girl Korea's editor, Lee Kyung Ah, Elle Girl Japan has chosen the Korean band, SHINee, as the representatives for their 100th issue.

8 years and 3 months since the birth of Elle Girl, 100th issue of Elle Girl comes out soon. SHINee Pictorial as a co-project with Elle Girl Japan, lots of columns celebrating the 100th issue, and three pretty booklets you'll never see again, all these will be available at online and offline bookstores on May 17th.
Meanwhile, SHINee is preparing to debut in Japan with the Japanese version of their single, "Replay", on 22nd June.
American artist Sean Kingston plagiarizes SHINee's song "Ready Or Not"? 110507
Recently, Shawols have been showing their extreme distaste towards Jamaican-American singer Sean Kingston. It was discovered that the singer released a song with Michael Mind titled, "Ready Or Not". The song is titled the exact same as SHINee's track, "Ready Or Not", which was released with their 2nd album, "LUCIFER".
The credits to Sean Kingston's songs state that the song is written by Sean Kingston with the production by the German House Music Duo, Michael Mind Project. However, the song by SHINee has lyrics written by Misfit, was composed and arranged by Mikko Tamminen, Risto Asikainen and Will Simms.
When listening to Sean Kingstons' song, it is obvious that the background melody is extremely close to SHINee's. Fans have been commenting on the track saying, "There seems to be a slight change in melody and beats.. but it is still SHINee's song" and "The song has been sean-a-tized!". However, angrier fans are calling for SM Entertainment to step in and make an announcement whether or not Sean Kingston was given permission to use this song, and if so, why no credits were given.
However, the track "Ready Or Not" by SHINee is also a remake of the song, "Girls", so there is a possibility they received permission from the original. The artist for the track, "Girls", is unknown, so that leaves this possibility as highly unlikely.

Super Junior has been voted as the most popular K-pop group.
The Spanish-language (television network) TV Azteca had recently conducted a survey to find out about the most popular Korean singers. In the poll, which saw participation from a total of 32851 people, Super Junior obtained 8517 votes to come in at first place with 25.67% of the total, while (artists such as) SHINee, So Nyeo Shi Dae, SS501, Big Bang, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, Beast, U-Kiss, FT Island, C.N. Blue, 2PM, Miss A, (and) BoA were behind (SJ in the poll).
At the moment, Super Junior is having activities through its Mandarin subunit Super Junior-M, and would be making their official debut in Japan through the release of their album “Bijin” on the 8th of June.
Earlier, we reported that KBS was coming up with a new singing variety show with an all idol cast titled “Immortal Song 2.” Although a tentative line-up was released earlier, producers have recently confirmed a final six-member line-up.
On May 4th, PD Kwon Jae Young tweeted, “Changmin, Hyorin, Yoseob, Min, Yesung, and IU have all come together. If they compete with a song by Shim Soo Bong… I think it’d be fun. Have fun kids, don’t be too nervous.”
A representative from KBS confirmed through Newsen, “SHINee’s Jonghyun will not be able to join the program due to conflicting schedules. We are currently in discussion with 2PM’s Junsu to be added in later.”
The first recording will be held on May 16th. The pilot episode is currently scheduled for June.
